• PRADEEP LAXMAN SAVALKAR was born on 8th June,1990 in Kalaburagi (Gulbarga), State of Karnataka in India.
Hailing from family of Agriculture background & father inline with Teaching profession routed my focus &
passion towards science, nature, art & culture.

• He is currently working as a Senior Lead Engineer in Collins Aerospace (Raytheon Technologies), Bengaluru It
is one of the world’s largest aerospace companies engaged in providing defense systems and services for
commercial, military, and government customers.

• PRADEEP L SAVALKAR has completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science in 2012 and Master of
Technology in Computer Network Engineering in 2014 from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU),
Karnataka. Also when he was doing M.Tech itself he has been selected for the project internship in Electronics
and Radar Development Establishment (L.R.D.E), DRDO and After Completing Internship in 2014, he has been
selected Research Scientist in Centre for Airborne System (CABS), Defence Research and Development
Organization (D.R.D.O), Ministry of Defence, Bangalore.

• He Has been worked 5 Years as a ‘Senior Research Scientist' in Defence Research & Development Organisation
(D.R.D.O), Bengaluru and involved in Indigenously Developed DRDO’s Projects.
• He has contributed towards Indigenously Developed DRDO’s Airborne Early Warning & Control System
(AEW&C) and Synthetic Aperture Radar for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (SAR for UAV) for Rustom. His expertise
includes Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) Processes, Certification Process for Civilian Aircraft and
Military Aircraft, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Process for Mission Safety Airborne System,
Certification of Airborne Software, Radar Functional Test on Radar Test Platform and Development of Flight
Management System (FMS) Software for Boeing, Airbus, Embraer, Bombardier Aircrafts.
• For his significant contributions in D.R.D.O he has received “DRDO Technology Group Award” From Chairman
DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India for Outstanding Performance during the year 2018 for Technical
Supports to Indian Air Force (IAF).

• Received Star Award-2021 from Collins Aerospace (Raytheon Technologies) for Recognize, Motivate and Inspire
employees to go above and beyond in support of Projects/Objectives/Company goals & He is the Member of
Prestigious Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineer
(IETE), Bengaluru.
